Just browsing
Nothing about you is saved on the server when you visit. Your browser remembers a few choices on your own device only: light or dark mode, music on or off, notification sounds, your My account layout, the heart cursor and disco mode on CGG Radio. Clearing your browser data removes them.
The web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, page and time) for security, which are deleted automatically.
To see which pages are popular, each page view is counted without cookies: the page, which website sent you there (just its name, like "Google") and whether you're on a phone or computer. To count visitors once a day, a scrambled code is made from your connection and browser with a random value that's thrown away every midnight โ so no IP address or ID is ever stored, and nobody can be followed from one day to the next. If your browser sends "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control", you aren't counted at all.
The platoon queue
If you join the queue, you log in with Twitch. The site receives your Twitch ID, username and display name, and checks that you follow the channel (and, if the subscriber perk is on, whether you're subscribed). Your Twitch password never touches this site.
- Saved while you're in the queue: your World of Tanks name, the tiers you picked and your place.
- Kept afterwards so Holly can see who she's played with: your Twitch name, World of Tanks name, number of games, battles and wins.
- Your World of Tanks name is checked with Wargaming's public player search, which also shows your public win rate.
- Your name may be announced in Holly's Twitch chat when you join or are called up.
- While you're in Holly's platoon, the site reads your public World of Tanks battle totals from Wargaming (battles, wins, damage, kills, spots, XP, which tank you drove and mastery badges) to count your games. The platoon MVP and Ace Tanker badges may be mentioned in chat and on stream.
Twitch, Ko-fi and song requests
- The live player and clips come from Twitch, which may set its own cookies. See Twitch's privacy notice.
- The chat ticker reads Holly's public Twitch chat anonymously. Nothing is sent.
- Song requests show the song and the Twitch name of whoever asked for it with !sr.
- The Ko-fi goal bar only stores the amount, Ko-fi's transaction number and the name Ko-fi shares, to add up the total.
The chat bot (thecuteassistant)
- thecuteassistant is an AI chat bot. To reply, it sends recent messages from Holly's public Twitch chat (names and what was said) to Anthropic's Claude AI. By default, Anthropic doesn't use them to train its AI.
- It may keep short, harmless notes about regulars (like a favourite tank or a running joke) so it can chat more naturally. It's told never to note anything personal.
- If you tell it your birthday (day and month only), it remembers it to wish you a happy birthday on stream. It may also check when you followed, to celebrate your follow-anniversary.
- It counts how many streams you come to and how many messages you send each month, to help Holly pick Viewer of the Month, and keeps your cute points.
- Type !forgetme in chat and it deletes everything it remembers about you straight away.
- If you report something (with !report in chat or on cutegirlgamin.com/report), Holly and the mods get your Twitch name, what you wrote and the last few chat messages. A !report message is deleted from chat straight away.
My account, points and tank battles
- My account uses the same Twitch login as the platoon queue. It shows your cute points, daily check-in streak, badges, points shop and song requests.
- Cute points are earned by chatting, checking in, trivia, predictions and tank battles. They can never be bought with money. The site keeps your points, what you've bought in the points shop, your badges and your check-in streak.
- If you play tank battles (
!spawntank), your Twitch display name, your Twitch chat colour and your Twitch profile picture are shown on Holly's stream, and your kills are counted for the weekly and all-time leaderboards on cutegirlgamin.com/tanks.
- If you play Wizard Duels (
!duel or cutegirlgamin.com/duels), your Twitch display name and profile picture are shown in the duel (on stream if it was played in chat), and the site keeps your duels, wins, favourite spell and badges for the leaderboard. While you're on the duels page the site notes you're online for 10 minutes so friends can challenge you.
- Who's online: while a page of the site is open, it tells the site "I'm here" every 25 seconds and "I've gone" when you close it, so Holly can see how many people are on and which pages they're looking at. It uses a random code (kept in your browser, not a cookie) so several tabs count as one person, and your Twitch name if you're logged in. No IP addresses are kept, and anything older than about a minute is deleted straight away.
- Want any of this removed? Message Holly and it'll be deleted.
If you're logged in, you can choose to keep your website settings (dark mode, music on/off and volume, notification sounds, your My account layout, disco mode and the heart cursor) the same on every device โ they're saved with your Twitch name. Untick it in My account to stop.
CGG Radio
- Reactions (๐ ๐ฅ ๐ ๐ ๐ฅน โจ) are counted per song. If you're logged in with Twitch, your total and which emojis you sent are kept so they can show on My account. If you're not logged in, your count is only kept on your own device.
- While you listen, the site counts how many people are listening. If you're logged in, your Twitch name and profile picture can show in the "Listening now" list โ switch off Show my name to hide it.
Feedback, ideas and reports
- Bugs and ideas (from the ๐ button, cutegirlgamin.com/feedback or !bug / !idea in chat) keep your Twitch name, what you wrote, which page you were on and your browser type, so Holly can fix things. Screenshots are only seen by Holly.
- Bug reports are never public. Ideas only appear on the public Ideas board if Holly adds them โ with your Twitch name and the number of ๐ votes.
- Reports about a person go privately to Holly and the mods only.
Notifications, pop-ups and "what do you think?" asks
- The ๐ bell keeps your notifications (your song requests, platoon calls, badges, Holly's news) on the website for a while, and remembers which you've seen. You choose which kinds you get in My account.
- Pop-ups are only sent if you tap Turn on and your browser asks you first. We keep the address your browser gives us for that, linked to your Twitch name if you're logged in. Turn them off in My account or your browser settings and it's deleted.
- Linking Discord keeps your Discord user ID and name so the bot can send you a direct message. Unlink any time in My account.
- When Holly asks what you think of something, we remember when it was shown, if you said later or not to ask, and your answer, so you aren't asked again and again. If you're not logged in this is linked to a random code on your device, not to you.
- Holly can see who said what. Ticking Hide my name from other viewers means it's never shown to anyone else. Closing a question or saying "not about this" is remembered so it doesn't come back.
- When you tell Holly how you're finding the website, what you write goes into her feedback list like a bug report or idea โ with your Twitch name if you're logged in, or no name if you're not. If she replies personally, only you see it (in My reports, your ๐ bell, and your Discord DMs if you linked them).
- Comments on guides and the lore page show your Twitch name and badge. They're checked for slurs and abuse first โ anything the check isn't sure about waits for Holly. Use ๐ฉ Report if you see something unkind.
- Corrections (tapping a bit of a guide to say what's right) are only seen by Holly and her fact-checkers, with your Twitch name so she can thank you.
- "Can someone check this?" requests keep your Twitch name and the bit you asked about, so a fact-checker can look and you can be told when it's done. Only Holly and her fact-checkers see who asked; other viewers only see how many people asked.
- How often you're notified: we remember your choice (only important / balanced / everything), your quiet hours, anything you tapped ๐ on, and the day you last visited โ if you haven't visited for a month, we only use the bell. We count how many pop-ups and DMs go out each week (and to whom) so Holly can make sure nobody gets too many.
- Work alerts (fact-checkers and mods only): what's waiting for you, when it was added, and your work settings (on a break, quiet hours, pop-ups, DMs). Holly can see how much is waiting and whether you have pop-ups or DMs set up.
- Roles: if Holly makes you a fact-checker, mod or helper, your Twitch name and that badge are shown next to your name on the website.
- Connection help (cutegirlgamin.com/connection) runs its checks on your device. Only "it was the site / it was your side / all fine" is counted, with no details about you. If you tap Send to Holly, she gets the results, your device and browser type (e.g. "iPhone ยท Safari"), the page you were on, and your Twitch name if you're logged in.
- To spot pages that won't load, the site counts failed loads and buffering per page per day โ just numbers, never who.
Backups
To make sure nobody loses their points or badges, the site makes a private backup copy of its data every night. Backups are kept for a short time (normally 7 days) and then deleted by themselves. They're never shared. A locked (encrypted) copy may also be kept in a private storage channel only Holly can open, so nothing is lost if the web server fails.
Donations
- Card donations are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch this website.
- For each donation the site keeps the amount, the date, and the name and message you typed. You choose whether your name and the amount are shown on the Supporters page, the ticker and the on-stream credits โ untick them to stay anonymous.
- PayPal and Streamlabs donations are added by Holly by hand, the same way.
- Want something changed or removed? Message Holly and it'll be done.
Removing your details
Want your platoon history or a song request removed? Message Holly on Twitch or Discord and it'll be deleted. You can also disconnect this site from your Twitch account at any time in Twitch โ Settings โ Connections.
